State board takes sworn public testimony tonight on another New Albany data-center gas plant

The Ohio Power Siting Board holds a local public hearing at 6 p.m. at the New Albany Early Learning Center, 5101 Swickard Woods Blvd., on PowerConneX's New Albany 3 Energy Center, a gas plant of up to 450 megawatts that would power a data center on the same site. Witnesses sign up at the door and get three minutes each; anyone who cannot attend may testify at the Nov. 4 evidentiary hearing at 180 E. Broad St.

This is the one session where residents can put their views on the record before the board rules on more on-site gas power for New Albany's data centers.
