Chef and co-owner of Isla
Andrew Smith
Chef and co-owner of Isla, a 34-seat Merion Village restaurant where guests share tables and the tasting menu changes with the season.
Andrew Smith and Devoney Mills opened Isla in 2025 after running a supper club from their home for seven years. Smith leads the kitchen. Mills runs the room and the business. Guests sit together, and Smith introduces each course as it leaves the kitchen.
Isla serves limited seatings Thursday through Saturday, including six places at the chef’s counter. The menu changes often so the kitchen can follow the season, buy from small producers, and use ingredients before they become waste. Reservations are required.
