BJ Lieberman owns two restaurants a short walk apart in the Short North. Metsi’s cooks Italian food on an open hearth, with seats in the dining room, at the bar, and along the chef’s counter. Ginger Rabbit pairs cocktails and small plates with live jazz every night.
Lieberman opened Chapman’s Eat Market after moving to Columbus in 2020 and earned two James Beard semifinalist nods there. Chapman’s closed in 2025. Metsi’s and Ginger Rabbit are his current public restaurants.
