Planning right now? Today in Columbus has these picks and more with live times, directions and calendar links.
The Sunday, September 27, 2026 edition. All times Eastern; organizer information checked September 27. This is a dated afternoon-and-evening guide, not a rolling calendar.
Our pick: Apple Fest, then dinner in German Village. Start with something seasonal and leave the evening flexible. Choose one afternoon outing below; there is no need to fit all four into a day.
Start here: CBC Apple Fest
11 a.m.–5 p.m. · 200 Kelton Ave., Columbus Brewing Company Beer Hall.
Browse local vendors, take a brewery tour and try the seasonal lineup, including Festbier and Bobbin for Apples. Middle West Spirits is providing cocktails. CBC calls it family-friendly; its listing does not state an admission charge. Think of this as a fall afternoon at the beer hall with shopping and tours.
Suggested plan: arrive around 2, spend an hour or two, then head to German Village for an unhurried dinner. These are suggested stops, not reservations or a firsthand review.
Rather wander a neighborhood? Worthington Harvest Fest
1–5 p.m. · High Street and the Village Greens, Old Worthington.
The festival stretches through the historic district rather than occupying one building. Expect live music, food specials, games, vendors and a farm petting zoo with a miniature horse. Pick this if browsing shops and strolling are the main event for you.

Two more ways to spend the afternoon
For food: Hank’s Oyster Fest, 1–6 p.m. Head to Gay and High streets, beneath the Current sculpture, for live shucking, Southern dishes and music. General entry is free with no RSVP; food and drinks cost extra. This has the latest closing time of the afternoon festivals here. Organizer details
For shopping: Mill Street Market, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Local artists, makers and small businesses gather on Mill Street in Gahanna’s Creekside District. Go early enough to browse before 4. Admission pricing is not stated by the organizer. Market details
Then choose your evening
Keep it relaxed: Lindey’s. Sunday dinner runs 3–10 p.m., at 169 E. Beck St. in German Village. Make a reservation if you want a fixed dinner time; table and patio availability are not confirmed here. Menus and reservations
Keep exploring: Zoo Lantern Festival, 7:30–10:30 p.m. Walk among illuminated animal and dinosaur displays after the zoo closes. This is a separate paid event from daytime zoo admission. Check the ticket page before heading out. Festival and tickets
Make a night of it: Crew vs. Inter Miami, 7 p.m. Latino Celebration Night at ScottsMiracle-Gro Field. The plaza opens at 4:30 and gates at 5:30. Check ticket availability and prices; a particular player’s appearance is not guaranteed. Match guide
